Grant Application Process Review

The Centre County Community Foundation is engaging in a review of our granting process so we can improve our service to all of the organizations that request funding.   In order to give our Grants Committee time for a thorough and effective review of our current process, we have decided to temporarily suspend granting for one quarter.  We will not be accepting applications or making any grants for the first quarter of 2011.   Our online applications will once again be available on March 1st, 2011 and will be due on April 15th, 2011.   Applications submitted in that round will be voted on at the May 18th, 2011 Board of Directors meeting with funds for approved applications available within several weeks of the decision.

This will not affect the total amount available to grant for 2011; we will distribute the total funding that is available for 2011 over three quarters instead of the usual four.    Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this causes.  We are striving to serve the community better and want to be sure we take the appropriate time to consider the best options to improve our granting process.
