What We Do

The Foundation accepts gifts to create permanent endowments and makes distributions from this pool, serving as a leader in the community's philanthropic activities. Funding is directed to charitable, 501(c)(3) organizations serving Centre County.

The Foundation provides support for the arts, social and health concerns, education, and the environment. The Foundation tries to target funds toward the community's most pressing needs and projects that will have the greatest impact.

Foundation Property, Inc.

To prepare for gifts of real estate and other forms of assets (artwork, jewelry, etc.) CCCF formed an IRS designated supporting organization. Founded in 2000, Foundation Property, Inc. (FPI) reviews such gifts and accepts those considered appropriate for the Foundation. In most situations FPI will then either keep or market the property with the proceeds being used to create a fund at the Foundation according to the donor's wishes.
