Giving Circles and Societies
The Campbell Society
The Campbell Society recognizes those donors who have invested in the future of our community by naming the Centre County Community Foundation as a beneficiary of their estate plans. The name honors the Foundation's founder, Judge R. Paul Campbell, and the Society honors those who have arranged any of the following in favor of CCCF. Anniversary Circle
In 2006 in honor of our 25th year, the Centre County Community Foundation established the Anniversary Circle Fund, a giving circle that makes grants back to our community much like other funds in the Foundation, but with a twist: Those who become Anniversary Circle members meet annually to decide which local charitable organizations and programs will receive the Anniversary Circle Fund Grants.
- Membership is Unique
- Only members can make proposals as to what unmet needs will be considered for funding; and only members of the Circle can vote on who receives the grants each year. Circle members will be invited to a luncheon to be held each year where the grant decisions will be made. Anniversary Circle grants may be made to charitable organizations serving Centre County working in the following fields: health and human services, the arts, education, and environmental improvement.
- Our Invitation
- There are always challenges in our local charitable community, and many unmet needs. The Anniversary Circle Fund will help fill these gaps and will let more people become involved in the grant-making process. We invite you to join us in this excellent endeavor.
You can become a Circle member with an annual contribution of $500. We welcome business organizations, as the Circle provides a direct interface for your business with the entire County’s charitable community, as well as many of our individual donors. The experience is truly rewarding as you make a real difference in the lives of people in your community.
